Glad to be almost done.

Ah, the interesting world of pregnancy. You feel like a big, stone, fat belly budah :)
am I complaining in this post?....... maybe a little, but we all know we are grateful for the ability to carry children when we can, but that doesn't mean we feel wonderful for 9 months. Here is your chance if you want to vent about your pregnancy woes also in my comments, it would actually make me feel better probably :)


Something it took me 3 pregnancies to catch on to is that because I have to do blood thinner shots during my pregnancies, any teeny tiny scratch or burn I get takes FOREVER to heal and does not scar very well. I will get some tiny little scratch from something and it will be there for 2 weeks and it will leave a stupid scar. this picture is of a burn I got, it wasn't a bad burn I dont even remember getting it!

I have heard some doctors say "pregnancy can be the cause of almost anything" any weird ailment you have can come from pregnancy. for example every time I get pregnant these little red dots show up on my arms. they usually all go away after I am no longer pregnant except I have one that remains from my first time. I asked one doc about them they said they are nicknamed "spider bites" and said they are of no concern. This time I have about 6 on my arms and 3-4 on my neck and chest. soo weird.

anyone else get a herniated belly button.?? not just one that pokes out cuz of the pressure but one that has a painful hernia beneath it? If you look close at mine you can see my belly button and then to the left (looking at the pictuer as it is)of it you see a separate bump from underneath my skin, that is a hernia, and anytime it gets bumped it just doesn't feel right. like a place on your body that doesn't get touched much and it shouldn't get touched with anything is suddenly exposed. lol

One nice thing about this pregnancy that differs from my other two is I haven't puked one time except for the stomach flu. Not that I haven't felt like puking in the beginning but I have fought the actual puking part. I do get some very nasty stretch marks on my belly that can only go away with surgery some day I hate them very very much, but to make myself feel a bit better I am grateful I don't get vericose veins.

I dont get any weird out of the normal food cravings, however I do allow myself alot more junk food than when I am not pregnant, which isn't a good thing.

I think everyone feels sore backs and sore bone feelings when you are near the end. and the inability to sleep? because of one reason or another...ie ..having to pee all night, or bad circulation or just not being able to sleep in your normal position etc. right?

April 5th, duhn dun dun....

April 5th marks the anniversary of SO many things, quite a few of which are not good things.

Let's start with the good. It is my dad and my mom's dad's birthdays! That is probably the only good thing actually.

The next is only an approximate date since I can't remember exactly because it was all crazy. We moved to Montana in the first week of April 4 years ago. not so sure that was a good thing or not but it seemed to be at the time. lol

April 5th is usually LDS General Conference weekend also. Last year in between conference sessions on Sunday it was technically April 6th but it still reminds me of last year when this happened to my leg........ You can click here for that full story that I posted about last year.

Starting 9 years ago we had a kind of joke that my dad's birthday was bad luck. it seemed to be starting a trend that every year on his birthday he or I would get hurt, pretty seriously. Luckily it only lasted two years, but I still get a little worried when it comes up.

so it has been 9 years since I fell in a hydraulic lifter 40 feet to the gym floor while decorating for my Jr. Prom and broke over 10 bones all over my body. The most serious accident of my life. we believe that I had a miraculous full recovery, (although i do experience memory loss that I attribute to this accident)Even though I missed my Jr. prom. which in my little town is a HUGE deal! It was the experience that opened the door for alot of spiritual growth and beginning of a real testimony of the Church. so in the end it wasn't all bad.

I spent 3 nights in the ICU and was released after I think 7 days in the hospital. a list of my injuries go something like this: huge crack in skull.. which lead to a blood clot that pushed on my brain and had to be removed, thus the huge scar on my head. some broken facial bones but nothing major. cracked collar bone. Spine broken in 3 places. two broken wrists. two bones in one and one bone on the other. broken Knee, and fractured bone on the top of my foot.

This is just a picture of a computer printed picture, but you get the gist of it. we used to joke that I looked like chucky in the movie bride of chucky because he has been torn to pieces and stapled his hair back onto his head. LOL

So April 5th 2001 was officially my dad's worst birthday ever, he says! Even though the next year in 2002 he fell off of a ladder in the garage and broke his back! And that is why we tell each other to be safe on his birthday.

March madness

March Madness means that the weather in march makes you mad. right?

one day it is 60 degrees and you are out having a picnic with your kids.

And the next you are taking them sledding! ??

Or it is just plain COLD! and no snow or sun to play in. spring fever is right, hot then cold is what you feel with a fever! But that doesn't stop kids from itching to get out of the house anyways. Carter has enjoyed giving Haven rides on his motorcycle. She likes it too. even though they can only stay out for 10 minutes at a time before getting too cold.

March is also my awesome husbands birthday. I can't think of a year where we have done anything outside in the warm on his birthday but maybe that is just my pessimistic attitude toward the weather here. anyways, I got him a really nice outdoor basketball hoop because he loves and is good at basketball. Carter got him the ball you see in the back of the truck.

Poor guy had to stand out in the cold for like 2 hours on two different nights to put the dang thing together. He has only got to use it once for about 5 minutes before it started to hail!! but I know it will get a lot of use."icing" the cake.Make a wish!

I am 28 weeks pregnant today! only 12 weeks to go. I am excited to have it over with because i am feeling exhausted and squished. However I am not excited to have a disruption of our schedule and trying to learn how to balance a newborn with two other kids, I am kinda freaked out about that, even though I know it will all work out like it always does, it is just overwhelming to think about.

So yes March is madness! :)

5 years of growing out my hair, now this.....

Yay! I did alot of research and finding pictures of ideas of how I wanted to cut my hair. I have been thinking about it for probably about 6 months now. I have been very hesitant because I have been growing my hair out for almost 5 years and have had some bad haircuts in that time that have slowed my progress. I was ready for a change, i got sick of doing my hair the same every day and it taking soo long to dry. so I found a really go hair stylist in my ward that owns her own salon and took her my 8 pictures of hair I liked and she helped me get something that would work for me.
I was really worried i might regret it or feel like it was too short, but it still is on my neck so I dont feel like I even really cut it that much, but now it is so much easier and has way more possibilities for hair styles. I am excited to play with it over the next few weeks. WOO HOO I DID IT AND LOVE IT!

p.s. disclaimer, probably not the best pic because this is the day after i got it done but it still looks pretty good considering i slept on it and woke up and brushed it and fluffed it a little.
