False Alarm....

So as you know, we are trying to sale our house. We thought our carpets could use a cleaning just in case we were going to get to show our house soon. Plus as extra incentive, Carter got a bloody nose a few nights ago and dripped on the carpet. So on Friday we got our carpets cleaned.
Sunday we got a call from our Realtor saying that we should be expecting a call from another realtor to set up a time to show our house! we were so excited!
So monday we decide to mow the lawn and plan to spend the day cleaning up our house to be ready to show. A few days earlier after our carpets were dried , we noticed the blood spots weren't all the way gone so I called the carpet cleaners again on monday also, to have them come back and try again. They said they would be over at 4:30 to look at it.
So around 1:30 we are at a pizza place eating lunch and get a call from a guy who says " hi , is this Cherish? " I say yes. he says " this is chuck, I was wondering if we could stop by and check out your house?" me: sure what time? " well we are out in River rock right now I was thinking in 20 minutes? " me whispering to Tim : "can we make it??"then say " umm ok we will run home real fast and get it ready " so we pack up our lunch in boxes and rush home.
we pull up and the carpet cleaners are in our driveway too. So we tell them that they will have to come back later because we have some people coming to look at our house right now. We rush in our house and do the best clean job ever in 20 minutes. our house looks perfect and ready to show!! So we drive away to go hang out while it is being shown. I say to Tim " should we call the realtor and let him know we are done and he can go in now" Tim says yeah sure.
so I hit the "recent calls" button on my phone and call the same phone# the guy named chuck called me from. A guy answers the phone " service master carpet cleaning how can I help you?"
me: "oops sorry wrong number" ( did you get it right away? well not me) i look again at my recent calls and think why in the heck ?????........
one second, two seconds......... bing! light goes on in my head.
I look at Tim with a pathetic look and say " no one is coming to look at our house, the guy named Chuck, who called was the carpet cleaner!"
I felt so dumb but the guy just said chuck the first time he called, he didnt say who he was. and we were expecting the realtor to call, and weren't expecting the carpet cleaners until later that day. but aparently he was calling to come over earlier.
DOH!!
we both had a good laugh.

Crazy September. ..

I have alot that I could post about that has happened in the past two weeks. But I really am not in the mood for long explainations so here are some highlights. We were originally planning a trip down to southern Utah to see my family on Sunday the 6th and stay until saturday the 12th. Unfortunately I got the horrific phone call on wednesday the 2nd , telling me that my sister had passed away. so we left on thursday. It was a beautiful funeral but it really sucked(for lack of a better word) to bury my awesome sister!! enough said. sorry that is just my mood today.

We hiked out to Shakespeare arch.Carter absolutely loved hiking around.Haven just liked drawing circles in the dirt.Carter got to ride with grandpa in the tractor to work one day. He thought that was pretty awesome!!

We got alot of cool pictures in my dad's backyard or as Tim calls it. "the oasis" Heidi did our family pictures also and they are so cute. I will post some another time.

Jordan really liked seeing Jaxton and was really cute with him.

It was fun for us to go swimming at the campground at Ruby's Inn, because this is the spot where Tim and I met . we had our first hour long conversation under this overhang. It was nostalgic.

Grandpa helped Carter and Haven each catch a fish. he was keeping the fish until my mom reminded him that we dont eat fish. lol

we celebrated Carter's birthday while we were down there also. We had a dragon treasure hunt.

Pin the tail on the dragon.and instead of a cake he had watermelon to stick the candles in. On the way home we stopped by thanksgiving point in Lehi. That is always a must see for my dinosaur loving kid.

Finally we went to a place called "boondocks" with Tim's family that night. The kids including Tim, had a blast. driving race cars.

The only ride Haven could go on was the bumper boats, but she liked it too.Even Jaxton had a good time. As long as he doesnt have a tummy ache, he is a really good happy baby.

We had a pretty good time and felt blessed that we were able to spend alot of time down in Utah after the rough weekend we all had. We are glad to be back in our own beds and routines though.

Carter's first day of Kindergarten

when I woke Carter up this morning to get ready for school he said he didn't sleep very good cuz he was waking up alot because he was so excited to go to Kindergarten.

we live just down the street from his school so

we will just load up in the stroller and walk half a block.

For just the first day of school they all line up outside the doors to go to class.

It was exciting and a little sad. I am so proud of him he was so brave and excited. he is going to love school!!

Jaxton laughed for the first time a few days ago, it was awesome, I love his smile and can't wait to hear more of his giggles!! here Haven is saying (here Ja-tee- baby you see my bear) she loves her Ja Tee baby. :)
