Summer fun 5

So we have had a few torrential down pours which have caused a huge mud puddle on the side of my dads house, which my kids discoverd and had so much fun in.... I wasn't too happy but oh well it washed off. We love having Jasmine here, we feel like she belongs here, and it is hard to not see her every day! I love that the saying in my sisters house on the wall is in the background of this picture.

I wanted Haven's hair cut into a "bob" which I thought would be easier to style and look good without styling... well we didn't exactly get the bob I had in mind, and it is a lot shorter than I wanted. But the baby find split ends got cut off so hopefully it will grow in better. Good thing she is so girly and has so much personality in her face :)

Summer fun 4 camping

We have gone camping 2 times this summer. It sure is a lot of work for parents. So fun for the kids though I guess.
Haven kept saying she was trying to take a nap, because she really wanted to play in the tent. lolLaugh all you want and me painting my nails while camping, but may I ask you "why not?" It's a nice relaxing time when you are out camping, no kids bumping you, and you don't have to worry about spilling polish in your house. :)

It was pretty fun, the only thing is Tim forgot a jacket and beanie cap so his head got cold at night and couldn't sleep and was up at like 5 am trying to get warm by a fire. As he is sitting there freezing he looks across the way and hears a motorhome's heater kick on, it was torture. lol

Summer fun 3 ( calf creek falls/ east fork drive)

We hiked calf creek in the middle of a hot day in July! whew it was sooo long but so beautiful as always! Jasmine got to come visit 2 times this summer for about a week each time. We love having her around.

I love going for a drive up in the mountains and roasting hot dogs. Jasmine is such a poser with her walking stick.

Summer 2 (Promise rock) 2011

Jaxton didn't want to leave, so he just sat down, which was ok with me because he was freaking me out trying to rund down the steep rocks anyways.

On the way home we heard 3 rattlesnakes right by the 4wheeler trail. They didn't like the 4wheelers, we could hear their rattle over the engine!!

Summer fun 1 2011

We have done more this summer than ever before! More hiking, more hanging out with family. Love it! This is a really neat place called promise rock. although the snakes we heard were not cool. see next post.

The Many Faces of Carter

Carter has sure had many new adventures living here in Southern Utah. Grandpa Tom loves to have him around to give him a hug every day. He brings a smile to his face. In Carters baby blessing he was blessed to be a great source of happiness to his family and those around. He sure is! He will be getting baptized soon and it is really interesting to see what happens when a special kid like him comes upon an important spiritual decision.

Carter is a pretty good kid. I don't know what it's like to be the oldest child, but I would say he does a great job! He is so strong and brave, doesn't like alot of drastic changes, but is alot of fun to have around.
