Milestones

Just thought I would update some pics of Haven since babies change soo much every day. she is 9 1/2 months old now, and is still just a relaxed little girl, with the most fun personality!
She finally is crawling a little more aggressively, it wasn't that she couldn't a month ago its that she just didn't care to.
Her hair is getting a little thicker and longer but still not much up there. Here you can see I tried putting a clip in her hair. :)
Her favorite person is still her brother. Here she is playing the catch the ball with the racket cups with him. She is sooo excited to be doing anything with him as always.

Tim's 30th

Now I can start calling my husband my old man :) ha ha just kidding.

we had cake and ice cream and his family came over and all played the wii.

Easter

EaStEr was sure early this year huh? which stinks cuz it makes for colder weather for egg hunting. this year we went to Tims brothers house and did and indoor partly outdoor egg hunt. And also took Carter to a city park egg hunt on saturday, that was crazy and fun.

Bunny Ears: Tims niece requested that her dad wear these bunny ears while hiding the eggs, so he agreed and Tim agreed also. Haven and CArter had to wear them once too...... I guess I should have gotten a pic of me wearing them also. but the person holding the camera is never seen :)

A few days later we decorated Eggs because both my kids got sick on Easter :(

hair woes

So I decided I needed a little change. I felt like my hair was getting just drab.
Have you ever grown out your hair? if you have you know what I mean by, it starts to take control of you, and you become too attached to it and almost cry whe you get it cut.
so here you see I had long blondish hair.









Today I cut it about 5 inches, cuz I am still a little bit attached to the length of my hair. I still havent decided if I like it or if I should just go and get a cute shorter hair cut since i cut it anyways.
but I am also feeling.... what did I do, I am such an idiot I have the same haircut just shorter now. atleast when it was long it was pretty . ugh.

Choco-lover

The other day I gave Haven a thin mint for a second to look at and to lick. no big deal right.? .....oh wait 5 minutes later after getting wrapped up in some chore I came back to this....As you can see on the carpet by her sock and on her sock. are her chocolatey finger prints!!! ahhhh. but Hey it all cleaned up. like my mom always says kids wash.

Haven was sooooo mad when I had to take her little piece of chocolate heaven away.

As you may know, when Carter was about 15 months old he had to have 5 caps put on his teeth because they came in with enamel missing for one reason or another. (I was told 3 didfferent possible reasons) it was sad, he had to be given something to make him kinda out of it which makes them fall asleep then strapped into a papoose like thing then had to have 5 mini root canals. but it was all ok. so he has had a rappers GrIlL (5 silver caps) since before he was 2.

The other day his front tooth was loose. I am thinking ok isnt 4 a little too young for a kid to start losing their teeth??? online there were a few cases of it. but yes it is rare. so I thought maybe his cap was just loose. so we took him to the dentist . and even worse news. his tooth was decaying at the root. The dentist said sometimes the body will just do that to your tooth root, OR the decay wasnt drilled all the way out the first time. ( which I bet is what happened) so he had to have it pulled. it was sad :(

but hearing Carter talk for the first few days was pretty cute with a little lisp. "leths play the Wii thporths" ha ha

so he will be without his front tooth for a few years :(

but he is cute enough to pull it off, plus he got 8 quarters from the tooth fairy since it was a tramatic event. :)

You may have seen this on the today show or heard about it. but if not then check out this 17 month old that can read!!
It is stuff like this that does one of two things. It can inspire me to be more proactive with my kids. or it can really dicourage me as I realize that it is possible but that I havent accomplished it. eeh.
