Good Friends

Here is to my friend Angie. She was my first friend in Montana. Thank goodness for her or I wouldn't have made it. moving to montana was hard because I started wanting to be by my family and I missed my friend Mellisa in SAlt lake city. I have now been here for more than 3 years and am slolwly getting to appreciate it more. I love the summer time here. it is a beautiful place and has alot of fun outdoor recreation.

Anyways back to Angie, she is moving to wyoming and will be 6 hours away :( she came over today and we had lunch with the kids and walked to the park. She has a son a little older than Carter and two girls ages 2 and 6 months.

I hope to be able to visit her, but am grateful for her friendship while in Livingston.

Most of you have probably had nice weather as of late also. It has been HOT here actually. I am just realizing we live in an upstairs apartment with no AC :(

But we have been out and about enjoying it. Here are some pics:

What's up.

Here is an update of what my kids are up-to and into :)

Carter finished an entire sheet of reward stickers. When Carter does something nice or makes really good choices he earns a sticker.: At the end of every row of stickers he got an ice cream or donut or candybar. at the end of 42 stickers he earned a 15$ toy. He chose a iron man figurine.
It is a great way to encourage good behavior. and that way he doesnt get spoiled with toys just cuz, he has to earn them which makes him proud.



Haven 'LOVES' to hug stuffed animals, Its pretty cute. the first the she looks for when waking from a nap is her stuffed animals. She also is into real animals lately she gets all excited when she sees a bird or cat or dog, and squeals and points with a big grin.

Haven also really likes books, she likes to turn the pages herself . but you have to read them to her fast cuz she wants to move onto the next one right away.

Project

Just thought I would show you all a project I did recently. I got this little table for free from someone.

It's paint was starting to chip and get everywhere, so I had to sand it.

whew' harder work than I thought.

I let Carter pick out the color. He picked a nice bright blue and I finished it off with some speckles of different colors on the top, to add character.
