So many firsts... amidst the crazy regulars of June.

June craziness.....

My parents came up last week to help with my kids and house and yard. The kids were so entertained every minute, they had alot of fun looking for bugs to put in the bug catcher grandma brought. even in the rain...

June is crazy also because we have a new little guy that we all love to hold and cuddle and take pictures of.. :)

Last week was my birthday also. I got a cold stone ice cream cake. yummy!!!! 26 years old.

and no pictures to show of fathers day and my aniversary which was yesterday.

whew finally all our celebrations are over for the month of June. yay!

Baby Jaxton

I can't believe that just yesterday morning I was in the hospital having our baby!
My delivery was the best one I have had. With my other two I had to have pitocin which makes labor alot harder. this time the Dr. stripped my membranes and that was enough to get my body to do the work without pitocin. 13 hours after being admitted to the hospital Jaxton was born.
Here are a few pics. He was 7 lbs on the dot and 19 1/2 inches long. Perfect size for me.
he is healthy and so far a good boy. a little swollen in the face still and I think he looks like an old man when he scrunches his forhead. lol We all Love to hold him especially Carter!

Haven's 2nd Birthday, T-ball, fun in the sun..

Haven Turned 2 on sunday. We had a little family bbq for her on Saturday.


She got a kitchen set with food, an alphabet puzzle, mermaid set, talking puppy, and color wonder coloring set. She didn't really get that th party was for her but had a fun time anyways.



She thought blowing out candles was sure fun, she had me light them twice.

She really loves Dora or "backpack" as she calles the show. So we got her a dora birthday balloon.

Carter has been playing T-ball. those are always interesting to watch. 10 kids going after the same ball. throwing grass, or anything that they aren't supposed to I guess. Carter is really good at it, but his volunteer coach really just sucks. he doesn't take it seriously at all so the kids just goof off.,the coach was better last year,she actually taught them positions and to stay where they were supposed to. but oh well, as long as he has fun then we will continue to do it.

The weather was really nice about a week ago, but since has been raining and snowing or atleast being overcast and cold every day!! Very frustrating weather!!. before the weather turned crappy the kids enjoyed playing out in the backyard in any form of water.

Here is one last belly shot for ya, because I go in tonight for cervidil , and pitocin induction in the morning! I am excited to have my body back even with some flabby jello at first for a belly.

And we are all excited to meet our baby Jaxton. I won't be back at the computer until friday to post pics.

A small face lift

I always felt our house we bought in October 2008 looked like a big box. Nothing really cute about it. But it has a great back yard and a lot of aspects we were looking for. We knew we would be able to change some things we didn't like about it. So we started today , to give our house face some more character we decided to paint the shutters and stain the porch.

We started to paint the shutters with a brush and roller.... but decided it didn't look so good. The super paint you have to use for outdoors is very thick and sticky.. and therefore doesn't dry very well or spread evenly. We were going to spray them with our paint sprayer but couldn't figure out how to get the shutters off the house...........but decided to spray them while on the house anyways. It is so much easier and looks 100 X's better. after all Tim painted for his job for about 3 years.

the blue we picked is kind of like a dark aqua blue I would say.

I really like it. It gives it some character and doesn't feel so boring and boxy to me now. I think on memorial day we will be painting the trim just around the top bay window though, to even it out a little more.

p.s. when I say we I mean Tim cuz he did most the work. I only helped stain the deck a little.

this is one step of many, but it's a start. I hesitate to do too much to this house because it is not our forever house. but I am willing to do small inexpensive things to it that will help us resale it in a few years and give it more appeal to the buyer.
