Girl Time

ok so I am back quicker than I thought. I just probably wont be posting as often because as I am currently listening to Jaxton cry while I finish this post, I am reminded why I thought of quitting in the first place. But I have something to post and I had a minute, but I took longer than my minute. lol
Haven and I went to get our hair cut the other day. It was basically just us girls (although Jaxton came too , he just slept the whole time) so it was our first "girly girl time". And it was Haven's first haircut.

A new Woman: she just cut her some bangs and trimmed up the back a little so it isn't so mullet style. Haven wouldn't let her put it in a cute ponytail so she just curled it.Haven is such a sweet girl. She got a sucker for being so good , and cute!





Haven is the star of this post, but here is an update of mine. not much change. although i have dyed it since I got it chopped off. I just had mine trimmed back up to where it was except not as short in the back. I still like it, especially now that it isn't so "fuzzy" as it gets when you let it grow out. this is a day after pic so its not as nice as it was yesterday. and I noticed I look really tired and colorless, let me explain. Jaxton was up for about an hour and several times throughout the night. I woke up to 5 people in my bed! and Haven gave me a fat lip(on accident) when I leaned down to give her a hug good night a few nights ago so I don't have any lip color on cuz it hurts to rub my lips together normal. lol

Thanksgiving 2009

I had a great Thanksgiving. My Mom and Dad and Nephew got to come up from Utah and my Niece from Idaho also. We had a lot of fun. We went sledding twice, and swimming at the hotel with a slide. and to a bounce house inflatable place.
so much to be grateful for.

This is Tim breaking away for a touchdown . He played a turkey bowl on thanksgiving morning. he said it was fun. but I think it looks cold.

Look what my friend Becky can do: Becky made this cute little onsie for Jaxton. no pattern just free hand sewed a cute little robot on a piece of felt. so fun! Here is Jaxton's monthly Tie shot. He is growing great, and so much fun lately too!

Look what Jaxton can do: He can sit up all by himself. but only for a minute because he will se something he wants and try to lunge forward to get it, but his balance is great!

17 inches of non stop snow.

but it sure is pretty to look at. so I let Jaxton sit in his bumbo in front of the door for a while today.

p.s. how cool are bumbo's ?? they help little babies be able to sit up even when they are 3 months old. great invention.

Halloween...2009

Carving pumpkins. This was Carters first year that we have carved pumpkins. Usually I paint them. it is so messy but it was fun. In case you can't tell what they are. I drew on a transformers auto bot symbol for Carter and Tim carved it. Then Haven and I did a Moon and STar because that is her favorite thing to draw whenever you sit down to draw on paper she will say " moon stye" for a moon and star.
and Tim did a traditional evil face jack o lantern.

Then we dressed up and went to the ward halloween party and trunk or treat. Jax was our little tiger. I had a big stamp that I printed off the internet taped to the front of my shirt, but you can't see it. I went as "black Mail" get it?

Carter has a few costumes to chose from because he likes to dress up to play sometimes. he chose Optimus prime transformer this year. Haven was a kansas city chiefs cheerleader. which is Tim's favorite foot ball team.

Tim was the white lotus kung fu master. He wore it to work on friday and people did not even recognize him he said, it was funny.

The other day we read green eggs and Ham and Carter said afterwards that he wanted to try some. so I threw some food coloring in some eggs and made them for him. funny kid. he didn't eat more than about two bites of them. next time I will use spinache to make them green. but these do look like the could be from a dr. seuss movie huh?
